5-star Amazon Review
These stories from the heart are about teachers who really 'get' their students. It captures many facets of the two-way relationship between teacher and student. There is also honesty about the dilemma where we love them while we have them, we never forget them (maybe their names, but not the connections between our souls), and yet, sometimes we are ready for them to move on at years end. Centered in Catholic teaching, the book also touches the deep spiritual connections that keep Catholic teachers coming back year after year for far less compensation than their public school peers. I am not complaining, the rewards are great (and eternal). Thanks to the author for gracefully reminding us of the beauty of our calling. I will re-read this every year.
