Mixing It Up in the Public Arena

In this slim volume, A. Zeik Saidman--community organizer, union organizer, political aide, and public facilitator-- reflects on his lifetime of "mixing it up" in the arena of politics, grassroots organizing, and public policy. From each of his jobs he draws lessons and offers reflections on what he learned and how each part contributed to the whole of his experience. He also relates to his own Jewish tradition of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) to the social justice beliefs of those of other faiths.
